Job Description:
As an HR Intern at Flora Fountain, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources while supporting the HR team in day-to-day operations. This internship offers valuable exposure to HR practices and procedures in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a prompt and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Assist with HR compliance efforts by ensuring that all required documentation, including employee handbooks, are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies, to support the HR department and ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate employee events and recognition programs to promote a positive company culture and boost employee morale.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives, contributing ideas and assisting with implementation as needed.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing materials, conducting orientations, and processing paperwork.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive HR information and employee records.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
